Our 31 Daring Dynamos escorted with 3 senior teachers are back after an adventurous and scientific tour of Dudhwa National Park and Lucknow city. To study diversified aspects of physiographical, historical, agricultural, industrial, recreational and social - culture, educational tour was organized for students of classes IX & X ( Both SSC & CBSE ). They exhibited great talents and kept the name of OGS flying high.

It was 4 days camp based on the theme. 'Evolution of Man' .OGS students tying up with students of Columbia Public School, Rudrapur of Uttarakhand dared several events like wilder mania , mad man Vs Human , Eco - techie , visit to Mohana river , Kaliedoscopic world etc.

Lets hear from bravos I felt these four days should not end. This tour added loads of knowledge and fun . Abhigna - X.SSC For me , Safari was the best . I felt different and was amazed to explore new things. I wish I have one more such opportunity. Preksha Jain - IX.CBSE I liked most 'Survivors Instinct' dare and 'Jingle Lala' where we danced and dressed up like tribals. Deeksha-IXCBSE It was awesome and memorable. I learnt team spirit. P.Sowmya. IX SSC I enjoyed 'Mad man Vs Human'. I learnt the way early man led his life. Arjun . IX CBSE I enjoyed the activity 'Eco- techie' . I learn't being myself without my parents. Navneet Agarwal. X SSC I think I can never get this time again in life . Lying down leisurely with friends and gazing at stars in open sky. Ah..what a feeling . Amandeep Singh - X.SSC In activity 'Kaliedoscopic world', we got chance of visiting jungle in open Safari and watching wild animals graze. Puneet Panwar - X SSC I learned how to make a tent , how to trap a tiger and a lot about ' Evolution of Man' . The camp was awesome LakshmiChandrika.X SSC

OGS: To help the students of VIII and IX learn from real life experiences OGS took an initiative and took them to VIJAYA MILK PRODUCTS FACTORY at Lalapet. This trip helped the young minds learn about various ‘Separation’ processes that they come across in their science text book. This field trip helped both teachers and students learn. About intricate details involved in the process of separation. It was organized on 3rd August, Friday. The trip was a true delight.

150 students of classes IV & V visited Birla planetarium on 2nd March to gain knowledge and information about the space and the solar system . Students enjoyed visualizing the planets very closely. They learnt many things by observing the exhibits such as paintings , carvings and porcelain articles. It was an awesome and fantastic experience for the blooming buds

They were taken to Birla Planetarium and Birla Museum, Students gained knowledge of various heavenly bodies. They enjoyed as if they were in space. Students observed the movement of the planets on their orbits and gained information about the Big – Bang theory.

Next , they were taken to the Archaeological Museum students observed the various things that were found by the Archeological department during their excavations. They were excited to see the largest vertebrate which was extinguished the skeleton of Dinosaur.

They did some experiments on specific gravity, friction simple pendulum, gravity force and spin pump. They also checked the wind force.

The objective – the information about the heavenly bodies has been full filled through this field trip.

Our School has arranged a field trip to NIN ( National Institute of Nutrition ) as a part of our curriculum students of classes 6th , 7th and 8th CBSE and 7th SSC visited it. They observed all the articles that are displayed in the museum. Students understood the values of nutritious food.

Students familiarized themselves with the new terms like Diabetes Mellitus, Cardio Vascular and Oncological disorders.
Understood the uses of turmeric powder, fenugreek seeds, green leaves etc.
Developed awareness towards the ill effects of iron deficiency and protein deficiency.
Exposed to the bad effects of junk food.

They also arranged P.P.T on NIN's activities
(its establishment, field trips to rural areas, conducted experiments and discussed the causes of poor health, suggested good dietary habits ).

Dr.K.Subba Rao ( SC ' C ' of NIN ) interacted with our students and he explained the importance of nutritious food and how to keep themselves fit ( both physically and mentally )

Industrial trip

Students visited the Parle – G biscuit factory placed at Saidabad. Students noticed all the equipment that is used in the manufacturing process. They also showed P.P.T on the activities of the factory i.e. from the beginning to ending process.
