A Field trip to Birla Planetarium and Birla Museum

Place : Birla Museum and Birla Planetarium
Classes Visited : I to VIII ( CBSE )
Teachers accompanied : All CBSE teachers
A field trip was conducted for all CBSE children.
They were taken to Birla Planetarium and Birla Museum, Students gained knowledge of various heavenly bodies. They enjoyed as if they were in space. Students observed the movement of the planets on their orbits and gained information about the Big – Bang theory.

Next , they were taken to the Archaeological Museum students observed the various things that were found by the Archeological department during their excavations. They were excited to see the largest vertebrate which was extinguished the skeleton of Dinosaur.

They did some experiments on specific gravity, friction simple pendulum, gravity force and spin pump. They also checked the wind force.

The objective – the information about the heavenly bodies has been full filled through this field trip.

Field Trip to NIN & Parle Biscuit Factory

8th November 2011
Our School has arranged a field trip to NIN ( National Institute of Nutrition ) as a part of our curriculum students of classes 6th , 7th and 8th CBSE and 7th SSC visited it. They observed all the articles that are displayed in the museum. Students understood the values of nutritious food.

Students familiarized themselves with the new terms like Diabetes Mellitus, Cardio Vascular and Oncological disorders.
Understood the uses of turmeric powder, fenugreek seeds, green leaves etc.
Developed awareness towards the ill effects of iron deficiency and protein deficiency.
Exposed to the bad effects of junk food.

They also arranged P.P.T on NIN's activities
(its establishment, field trips to rural areas, conducted experiments and discussed the causes of poor health, suggested good dietary habits ).

Dr.K.Subba Rao ( SC ' C ' of NIN ) interacted with our students and he explained the importance of nutritious food and how to keep themselves fit ( both physically and mentally )

Industrial trip

Students visited the Parle – G biscuit factory placed at Saidabad. Students noticed all the equipment that is used in the manufacturing process. They also showed P.P.T on the activities of the factory i.e. from the beginning to ending process.
